Religious Ceremony Wedding Music
Musical walkthrough with a String Quartet:The string quartet as we know it was “invented” by Joseph Haydn during the 1750s. A string quartet consists of two violins, viola and cello. Prelude Music for a String Quartet:This is the music that the String Quartet will play as your guests are being seated. Some people have very definite ideas about programming, others leave it completely to my musicians. Processional Music for the Bridesmaid: Processional Music for the Bride: Music for Candle lighting Ceremony or the Moment of Reflection: Recessional Music for the Bride and the Groom: Musical Walkthrough with a HarpWhile thinking about what instruments to have at your wedding it is important to consider both the venue and the number of guests attending. If you are having a small wedding in an intimate setting , the harp alone, or with one additional instrument such as flute, violin, or cello, can be the perfect compliment. Processional Music for the Bridesmaids:Recently, I was hired for a wedding where the bride had only a maid of honor and a ring bearer. The ring bearer was a little boy who took his job so seriously and walked so slowly, that it took him almost three minutes to go down the aisle! The combination of the innocence of the little boy and the simplicity of a solo harp playing Pachelbel’s Canon was just so touching….it made the ceremony. Processional Music for the Bride:
