About Maura &Co

With more than twenty years in the business, Maura & Co has provided classical music for over 1000 wedding and corporate events in and around the New York City area.

Maura & Co founder, Maura Molloy, began the company while getting her Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance. Every year, more and more friends would ask her to perform at their weddings – and could she maybe get a harpist? Or a string quartet?

Since Maura was getting her degree from one of the top music schools in the country, she had an easy pool of first-rate musicians to pull from. Thus, Maura & Co was born. Since then, Maura & Co has performed or arranged music for countless weddings, in almost every style imaginable.

All our vocalists and instrumentalists are graduates of America’s top music schools, as well as being working professionals. Maura & Co’s musicians have had both extensive experience performing at weddings and are well versed in the accepted repertoire for religious ceremonies.

About Maura Molloy

As a solo vocalist Maura Molloy has performed throughout the United States. She has sung the National Anthem for Former President Clinton and Former Mayor Giuliani. In concert, she has sung at museums, concert halls and universities.

Career highlights include: Yale University, Caramoor, The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, The North Carolina Community School of The Arts, The Oklahoma City Kirkpatrick Museum and Boston University.

Maura has also been featured off-Broadway at the Irish Arts Center and has sung in choruses at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and the 92 Street Y.

Maura is strongly committed to Music Education, and has done outreach for such organizations as The National Symphony, The Juilliard School, Young Audiences of CT and New York Cares. She has received grants from New York Council on the Humanities and Connecticut Commission on the Arts

Maura holds a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from Mannes School of Music in New York City and an undergraduate degree in Music Education from The Catholic University of America.
